Check out the pic #5 I believe. It shows a transponder zip tied in place. All the other pics don't reflect anything on the front fender. Hmmm? Answer must have
mixed up the gloves also not same color. Hopefully James can put it all together
for the outdoors and put in some good rides.
He told Matthes there wasn't a Red Bull sticker on his airbox. He either didn't know or flat out lied. Wonder if Red Bull is going to be a team sponsor soon??
@BillC - Yeah, it's a little "off-road" looking, but that's better than a DNF. Also interesting is the lack of Pro Taper bars. Team Suzuki has been running Pro Tapers for well over a decade.
That gas tank does look a little off-roadish, but it's better than a DNF. Seeing Team Suzuki's bikes without Pro Tapers is a little weird, also. They've been running those bars for well over a decade.
Just get a top five start, ride at 80%, follow the trail of yellow body parts to the huddled group of Asterisk medics, then pin it for the win. Stewart down!
If James Stewart is happy, then James Sloan is happy. I'm happy that James is happy. He looks good on that yellow bike and I hope James wins a couple of more titles before he retires. Good luck, James.
Havocs throttle usage may be be harder on the mileage than RD5 was and it will prevent the possibility of a DNF. If keeps it upright this is a flat dangerous combination. Good luck, it would be wonderfully quiet on here if he starts winning a few......for about a minute.
Does knowbody recall Dungey running out of fuel at Freestone? Is it really a surprise that Suzuki is running a larger capacity tank for the Nationals then? Pretty sure I've seen the same tank design on some of the GP Suzukis too.
For James Stewart, nothing in the video is very impressive. But I'm sure he has a ways to go before he is fully comfortable on it and in full outdoor condition. He's out there and that is good! I really do want him to do well so he is happy and races the whole year, but I don't want him to do real well as in run away from everyone.
I'm thinking though, is Metcalfe sitting alone at a track somewhere out of a van saying, "Hey guys, remember me? Where is everybody?" Was this a team test or a James test? I really hope Metcalfe was there as well and this was a team test.
Maybe not fully comfortable, but he does look comfortable, which means there is at least a lot of room for "improvement"!!! not being a dick B-KR, but it is a little funny that you say "for James Stewart, nothing in the video is very impressive? Sounds like you are giving credit to a guy you said is only gonna finish 6th in the standings!!
@bkr .. Mecalfe is sitting at the track saying , Damn , Thats how fast I need to go !...... I believe Metcalfe will learn a thing or two from JS , and try to hang with him at the Nats. ... 1 2 that would be so cool . and not impossible
This change his what he needs, the zook fits him way better than the yz. I know he threw away his nascar deal but he would have prolly gottin hurt long before the car deal happened. I'll never forget Stewies debut at Glen Helen on a 125, that ride was epic. He needs to buckle down, work hard and do some soul searching. Fitness is the key to the outdoor cause you know Rattray gonna be in shape and Barcia is going to be extremley fast on the fo fiddy.
C'mon Whatever, you think I really think Stewart will only be 6th if he races them all? Sometimes I say things just to get the Stewfans all riled up. Seriously speaking, I don't know what will happen other than the bike isn't going to make a huge difference. I think it will be better for him, but just not the huge 3 seconds a lap that many Stewfans are hoping. There was a time when any video of Stewart could make even a nonfan like me watch and say "damn.......". It was the same with RC and it is the same with RV. James now seems much too human....still a very fast human on an MX bike, but missing that extra something. I am superpumped that he's out there though for MX.
Who in the hell said it was going to be a 3 second a lap improvement?? Where did you get that from b-kr? I haven't seen anybody claiming that anywhere.

good luck james, prove me wrong!
Look foward to seeing throw down at Thunder Valley june 2nd.
look forward to seeing YOU throw down at Thunder Valley june 2nd.
not trying to start anything, so don't go there!
Check out the gas tank. James must want the bike thinner? It looks like the seat is trimmed too.

Mistake it was pic 4 for the transponder
It was picture #4 not #5 with transponder.
He was out there testing with Malcolm and they have been switching gloves all season. I guess they continue to do it even in practice.
I really hope he does good, I feel like there is to much hype behind it and it could hurt him.
Two solid moto's should be the goal....screw the "hype"!!

@whatever, I agree look at dungey he dont win a crazy amount but he is right there every step of the way, they all say you can win a title at 1 race

anyone else think the gas tank looks a little tall??
Het BillC...doesn't the link show up in the first post on this page?? I posted it, but i'm just curious!!

LOL YUP, I posted it before I read the reply's. Sorry.

Man, you dudes love to say "flat out lied" a lot don't you?? haha

Carbon fiber tank may need expansion space....interesting that james needs two fingers on the clutch...
If James Stewart is happy, then James Sloan is happy. I'm happy that James is happy. He looks good on that yellow bike and I hope James wins a couple of more titles before he retires. Good luck, James.
Silence in the house!!! hahahaha
I think it's cool he did it all with one hand...Ha, Ha!

iI wish Rv was there to take him on. Rd might have a challenge. im hopeng for dungey though. rather see him win
