"He is an amazing rider and gifted athlete and we feel very fortunate to have him join" I'm pretty sure JGR stated the same thing initially. I'll be looking forward to see who picks up that ride at JGR and makes that Yamaha a winner once again. It'll also be fun to see Alessi and James on virtually the same equipment.
Good Luck to JS and Yoshimura Suzuki. May the force be with you.
@JS - Now surround yourself with motivating people, maybe RC in your corner to help get you back on track and fine tune stuff, and do some testing in California this week (You know the dirt is different there than Florida), good to go.
Keep your head up kid, the way I see it. You have a few more years racing, so make them count from here on out. You already wasted 3 seasons screwing around, you could have been really close to 60 SX wins by now.
I don't tweet so, Food for thought "Do you really know why the turtle beat the hare?"
Who cares? Let's take a look at JS7 so far. He was such a pain in the but to Kawasaki that they let him go for a unproven at the time .RV. He goes to L&M and after two years he is the reason that they gone. He goes to JGR for 6 months
and quits.... Now he is on Suzuki. James has single handidly ruined a great Yamaha team (l&M) gave JGR and Yamaha a black eye. Is this what we want representing our
sport? I think that JS7 should have
to do what CR22 did and prove
himself again. James Stewart is turning into the Terrel Owens of SX and MX.
i knew he wasnt hurt he never was he tried to say he was from that lil tip over than in houston cart-wheels right in front of me gets up leaves his bike on the track and that (I believe) was the last straw for him and that bike and the next day he posted that he "had a big crash but surprisingly walked away without a scratch" that night in houston was the end but due to contract and sponsor obligations they had to keep it hush hush till the season was over
but im excited to see what and how hes gonna do he proved me wrong already i thought he was all about the money but he just walked away from the money for a bike that he feels he can win on so he deserves a little break atleast a couple months to see how serious he is about winning but its not even a question that suzuki is paying him what JGR was without a doubt maybe james can save suzuki and his career/reputation at the same time
so let me get this straight james is gonna beat dungey with ease, but wouldnt beat cairolli who wont even come race in the usa? yeah okay dungey is no slouch outdoors james will have his hands full all summer long but those guys over there arent as good as you think they are otherwise they would be over here
Hey jeramey, I don't think james will beat The DUnge with ease but will win the championship!! IT goes both ways,, then why don't american go over to europe to get a GP championship if they are so good?? Amerians can wil a one off race but wouldn't stand a chance racing the whole series..Only Villipoto would win the championship in EUrope!!!
Agreed. The Euros know where the fastest riders are, in the states.
It's great to see James riding so well, even injured. But I see what his problem has been.....he needs to practice on a track with bumps on it. That's the smoothest track I've ever seen. Maybe that's why he can ride so well with a broken hand. Just remove all the bumps. He will do good on the Suzy but not because the Yamaha had anything wrong with it. He will have the same issues on the Suzuki. But he knows it's time to start winning and he's getting older every day.
Let's hope the Suzuki stays in one piece a lot better than it did for Dungey. RD5 is much less demanding on the bike and from his team and....let's face it, not the same can be said for JS7. Then again, his return on yellow is very good for the sport, and he's hoping that people forget the name "Ryan" very soon ( either one ).
You call that your outdoor practice track? You might as well be riding around on the road for as smooth as it is. News flash James: they don't smooth the track out in between 8 minute motos like they do in supercross. You got a long way to go if you think you are going to beat Dunge.
Mostly civil comments here today. Good to see. He looks good on the zuke. Happy to see him out there. Gotta admit, I was sort of I'll believe it when I see it, but this is close enough for me. JS 7 will race outdoors this year, and that is cool. Can't wait to see how it unfolds. But, I will still have to root for the homeboy RD 5. Hopefully we will witness some good clean battles and who knows, maybe JS and RD- and fill in whoever you want- will go to the MX of Nations, And kick some butt!
I'm thinkin' he didn't mesh with the bike and was uncomfortable with it at speed. Therefor he didn't want to race it and risk injuries. He knew for a while that this wasn't working and needed to do something different. I don't like the story games and being misled, but a guy has to do what a guy has to do. We shall see what fate holds for JS 7 this summer.
After this only Honda and KTM left for him to ride. Burning bridges!
There wont need to be an "after this" DaveyD!!!!!!

Vitel had these up before 9 am...Come on Racer X!!!
3rd brand in his Career... Not to bad...OH wait RC did that two and Reed has been on 4 dif ones...Any chanch to bash i guess.
Love it, haven't seen him that upside down and sideways since the KX 125.
Man, that whipped nac-nac is sick.....
The world wide intra web is about to short circuit...
I'm just happy to see him doing the Nat's.. finally
Welcome back Stewie
Damn .. If he can ride like that with a broken hand the other guys don't have a chance ...
Looks like he's really hurt..
Good Luck to JS and Yoshimura Suzuki. May the force be with you.

with all the top guys out and only Dungey as a championship contender James will definately win this championship!!!
But if James went to Europe he wouldn't stand a chance at a GP championship !!!!!
Couldn't beat Everets when James was in his prime.....And Everets was old and retiring... Woulda , coulda , shouda, for sure........
i knew he wasnt hurt he never was he tried to say he was from that lil tip over than in houston cart-wheels right in front of me gets up leaves his bike on the track and that (I believe) was the last straw for him and that bike and the next day he posted that he "had a big crash but surprisingly walked away without a scratch" that night in houston was the end but due to contract and sponsor obligations they had to keep it hush hush till the season was over

who gives a rats testicle. I'd rather have my hemorrhoids clamped with visegrips and burned off with a blow torch, than read or watch that dusche bag.
Looks pretty comfy on that Suzuki. Its on!
Hey Hammer, then why did you log in to this thread, douche bag?
Let's hope the Suzuki stays in one piece a lot better than it did for Dungey. RD5 is much less demanding on the bike and from his team and....let's face it, not the same can be said for JS7. all hes done lately is be the fastest man to hit the ground...prove us wrong James
You should give those things a whirl "Hammer".......and post the video for us!!

He looks just as stupid as he normally rides in the second picture !!!!!!
Good to have you back outdoors JS. But your going to have your work cut out for you, RD has the speed and is a tough dude in his own right.
RD the championship is yours to loose.
i think the RV and RD battle this year would have been more exciting, but glad JS is there to keep the summer interesting.
some one should smack him for wearing that hat like that... can't wait to see him cartwheel at RED BUDDDDDDDDDD
The big p*ssy claimed to be hurt. Why aren't you fanboys pissed that he faked an injury to get out of the a$$ kicking he was taking in supercross???
I'm thinkin' he didn't mesh with the bike and was uncomfortable with it at speed. Therefor he didn't want to race it and risk injuries.
