Drove almost 1000 miles each way to TO. Missed JS7 and RD5 bad. Loved the Friday night pit party! Some of the riders were really nice. Villopoto ran threw the pit party before it started, left in an SUV, he slinked by hundreds of die hard fans!
Wilson didn't seem to be into it at all, but he signed autographs. Reed, Brayton, Barcia, Millsaps, Chisholm and Roczen were pretty cool. I have seen better racing, like when JS7 beat RC in TO, but the racing is all good. Loved my seat, 50 yard line at the end of the whoops. Track walk gave me a new appreciation, I don't know if i could even ride my 525EXC around it. Best looking bike was Malcolm Stewart's, and he can ride too, but he had some troubles in the main. Only major problem was my point and shoot camera in the dome, my pic's with the lovely Monster girls are hurting. I would have paid for a professional quality picture of that.
The SpeedTV people, Ralph, Jeff and especially Erin were great!! Oh yeah, compared to the Monster pit party, where everyone felt welcome, the Loose Moose party blew chunks, seemed like an insider deal only.
With the pit party, qualifying and the races, I got a lot for my $51 seat.
