Well RV will get an early start to outdoor testing...... That has to scare the comp!!!
RV1 can literally sit out two races and still have 20 points to spare over JS7. That's being a boss. With just 6 more races to go, he can just cruise to the finish line.
Jeremy Martin went 1 1 2 1 @ MillCreek! Congrats to my fellow minnesotan. Watch for AM 30's younger brother!
As if I didn't have enough reasons not to like Mike Alessi ... thanks a lot for crashing K-Dub out of the race and injuring him. You're lucky you didn't crash yourself out, too. Hopefully Kevin will be able to go next week!
sef154 couldn't agree with you more. KW should take Alessi out behind his rig and whip his ass. What an idiot! This isn't the first time he has pulled a stunt like this. Believe he did it to Hanny early in the year and numerous others throughout the years. All leads back to upbringing. He has a dirty laundry list a mile long yet continues on. I feel sorry for him and his brother. They really don't know any better. All those am championships will never be validated. The whole clan should go back under the rock they crawled out of in the desert.
If the injuries continue like this, we'll have local C class racers making the mains by Vegas.
Oh and both of the Alessi's and Tony can kiss it. I'm a fan that supports riders by buying their sponsors products. I'll stay clear of anything on their jersey's and bikes.
This should be the last year of the Alessi JERKS in motocross, at least I hope so. Mike is just lucky RV ignores his stupid butt and smokes right on by him instead of putting him in the cheap seats. Now I know why Johnny Grant busted his leg up in the outdoors. Mike races for 5 laps then rolls his out of shape body around the track weaving into people and does not care if they get injured or not. I really don't know how this family gets a sponsorship anymore, the only nice one is Mrs Alessi.
sef154 I was thinking the same thing. Althought I don't think he knew it was Kdub, because he knows Kdub will put him in the cheap seats when he gets back next week.
I have to say it's nice to see Millsaps in the mix, he came back from big injuries.
Guess I need to see that again cuz I really did not think Alessi did anything bad, It looked like K-Dub moved to the left when he saw the tough block in the corner and cliped Mikes rear wheel. I will try to look again tonight if I have time.
Just thinking too, They did not say anything on TV abaout it either, I think RC even said Hit hit Mikes rear wheel. Either way it was nothing compared to what Barcia did to Wharton!!
True BillC But it seemed like Alessi came from the outside and moved in on him.
Potato Pototo! Maybe Kdub was just coming in too hot for the foever fading Alessi.
Oh yah with Kdub out for the race it tightens up the points 4 through 10 it also let Millsaps move ahead of Kdub he might be in the in the #4 spot today.
So there you have THE MOMENT!
that Barcia interview after the heat race was pretty bad.....what a kook he is.....
Thats right KilloMoto, Guess he can dish it out but can't take it!!
It doesn't matter if Alessi knew it was K-Dub. Would it be better if he took someone else out? And I don't get these people saying Mikey is out of shape. He gets a good start and rides over his head to stay up there as long as he can, until the more talented SX riders start to go by. At that point, he goes into "wide bike" mode to try to maintain his position. Remember he and Dungey in the U.S. Open (or whatever they're calling it now)? I'm pissed because Windham got hurt, and with the way he's been riding, he had a good shot at third in the series (and the race). Now it depends on his health.
What does MA have to say? " FU, all of you, i am living the MX dream biches and if you want to compare bank accounts or girlfriends, lets go. also, anyone want to meet down at your local track, i will lap you in 3 or 4 laps, and then land on you"
Mustard your probably right!
I don't think Mike Alessi is about comparing bank accounts or gf's. As far as KW getting taken out / ran into, that is James Stewart's territory. I think when KW gets blindsided, as he is picking himself up & dusting himself off, he starts his conversation off with: "Well James, what happened THIS time?"
@BillC, its just Barcia Barcia Barcia with you isnt it.. And you say guys are ate up with Stewie, you have mentioned "what Barcia did to Wharton" in every post youve made today..
You say what Barcia did was so bad, but what BT101 did to Short at the Des Nations in Colorado was OK.. Hmmm!!!
It was a bonehead move by Alessi. Part of being a good rider is knowing where everyone else is around you. Alessi has always thought he was the only one on the track and this isn't the first time he's cut someone's line. If you watch the incident, yes KDub fades towards the middle of the track a couple feet, but he had plenty of room to spare at that point, then when Alessi comes off the table they somehow go from being 4 feet apart, to Alessi's rear wheel jumping off KDub's handlebars, then KDub ejects into the corner, still in the same line he was on.
Basically the same move Jeff Alessi used on Grant the year before.
I hope Mike gets boo'd for ruining the night show for everyone else from now on. It won't be the same without KDub.
The one thing I would change about our beloved sport is the predictability of the podium riders. It has generally been the same dominant forces week in and week out at the races. That is why the Indy SX was so entertaining (to me at least). Even if it is a runaway, I love seeing new faces on the box. Millsaps, Brayton, and Wharton all rip, but I didn't expect Wharton to be standing on the top of the box come Indy.
It is also refreshing to see a team in the lites class other than PC and FC take the win. Great to see Wharton not only be just as competitive as he was on the FC team, but better. Look forward to seeing how he progresses from here on. If it doesn't work out for him then he can throw on a helmet and compete in the WMA Nationals.
bd200 I never said what JB did was "SO BAD" I just said it was worce than what the 800 did, Everyone loves K-Dub so there mad about that but if you watch the vid Mike was in the raceing line the whole time, no one was going to the laft of where he was, K-Dub tried to come up the right side and it did not work that was not Mikes fault but with JB you cane see him cut right across the track, even RC, and Jeff were like wow he is using the hole track.
OH the BT/Short thing, I never said it was fine I just don't think it was a direct take out like you do.
Barcia did nothing but protect his line for the next corner, he protected the inside.. Considering you raced, I figured you would understand that.. Or was you just looking for a reason to cut down Barcia?? I get it now..
LOL BD200, once again you miss the whole point, Here we go again. What was more dangerous?? What JB did or what Mike did?? No contest... JB's move was way more so. Mike stayed in the race line, JB cut from one side of the track to the other, EVEN RC was like WOOOOO he sure is useing the whole track... Cuz he too saw it for what it was. You are so sensative about JB you only see one side. But if that was some "other" guy you would go nuts!! so tell me again how comparing two things that happen is "Cuting down JB" even when others agree with me. No right or wrong just the way I and many others saw it.
