Monster Energy Hosts Event at Pole Position to Benefit Cancer
FUN AT THE RACEWAY
WHAT:
February 23, 2012 – CORONA, CALIF – Join Monster Energy Gives Back for an amazing night at the raceway to benefit Stupid Cancer, a national nonprofit organization that helps young adults fight cancer and win.
"We couldn't be happier to be partnering with a forward-thinking corporate partner like Monster," said Matthew Zachary, cancer survivor and Founder/CEO of Stupid Cancer, (aka The I'm Too Young For This! Cancer Foundation). "It is because of relationships like these that we are able to serve our mission and help so many young adults facing the challenges of cancer."
Guests will receive one free indoor go-kart race and one free raffle ticket for a $20 donation. Food will be offered for purchase. There will also be a silent auction featuring items such as RC Trucks, Monster Energy athlete gear, helmets, framed and signed posters, etc. There will also be trophy trucks, buggies, sandrails and Pro 2 Short Course Trucks displayed for everyone to check out.

WHO:

Monster Energy athletes and celebrities to include, Jeremy “MC” McGrath – seven-time Supercross Champion and off-road racer, Trigger Gumm – motorbike rider and one of the first distance jumpers since Evil Knievel, X Games Gold Medalist and Freestyle MX rider, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg and Andrew Buck former pro motocross and ATV racer. Casey Currie who won the TORC Pro-Lite Points Championship in 2010 will also be there along with Cameron Steele who is known from his ESPN/ABC/NBC/CBS and Speed network TV gigs, but feels most at home flying across the desert in his beloved Trophy Truck.
