Andrew Short Injury Update
Coach Seiji personal training client #29 Andrew Short made a valiant effort to race the Dallas edition of the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross Series but will be forced to take a few weeks off to let shoulder injuries that were sustained at the San Diego round heal. The Supercross.com/Honda rider and trainer Coach Seiji did everything possible during the week to promote healing of the injuries sustained in the first turn crash at San Diego but the stresses of riding at the premier level proved too much. Andrew received preventative taping and went out for the first un-timed practice at this weeks race in Dallas but soon realized that his shoulder felt unstable and unsafe for riding. Andrew tried to tough it out by riding the second practice but the writing was on the wall and the smart decision was to not race the Dallas round.
Andrew, Coach Seiji, and the entire team are of course disappointed but are even more determined to do what is necessary to get #29 back out riding at his best. Stay tuned...
