man if I moved to Germany it would be years before I could order dinner in a restaurant. this kid comes over here and can barely speak english and in a few months he sounds like any American kid you can imagine talking to. barely an accent even!

As english evolved (mainly) from german it is quite easy to understand his progression (accent considering) still not speaking it with the Queens tongue however!!

Downhill MTB is insane. I race mountainbikes and road (mainly crits and road races with a few time trials here and there) and let me tell you - cardio wise, MX is cake.
Not trying to insult thaose of you that believe that MX is the toughest sport - it may be, but from a pure cardio perspective - it is not. You need big balls to go fast. I lost those quite sometime ago.
