I think you forgot the CBS disclaimer…

“All air times subject to change at a moment’s notice and should be considered a mere suggestion, not a statement of fact. Programs such as Supercross may be preempted at any time by any other sport or program.”

I will say that at least CBS did show both heat races in their full instead of one heat then abbreviated highlights with a PR music compilation video afterwards.

Both heat races shown again and all CBS affiliates carrying the show is the best we can hope for. But don't hold your breath.

Make sure you let both, CBS and your local affiliate, know how you feel about not seeing supercross in your area. The link for CBS was posted in previous forums but they are not something I could find. So if anyone has that link please post it again, that way the voice of the supercross fan can be heard. Go to your local website and find an email address for the program director and let them know you think supercross is more important than paid programming. My local affiliate was very quick to respond and explain that the online TV guide I was looking at was wrong and that they would be airing the race. To bad golf ran long last weekend and I missed all but the main event. Let the voice of the people be heard!!

Here you go CrossRut:

This is a link to their feedback page, but don;t expect to receive a response.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that CBS DOES NOT SCREW up this weekends race.

Everyone complains about CBS. I agree their coverage is horrible and sometimes it is replaced with a wonderful info-mercial. Instead of complaining to CBS. Go right to the source who set this programming up. Feld Motorsports and I beleive Davey Coombs, at least for the outdoors. They are the one responsible for you getting to watch flat abs in six days. Maybe if they hear it enough they will quite trying to jam CBS down our throats

At the bottom of every pile of shit is money. The problem is with the local CBS Affiliates, they can sell the airtime for more money than they get for showing the race. That is why some of us miss the races.

The trouble the motorcycle industry is in now you would think they would secure
the maximum exposure for their products with live broadcast instead of accepting delayed and even cancelled broadcasts. Motorcycles are no long hot sellers and a lot of dealerships have gone under. Some local tracks have been closed plus a ton of people have quit racing completely, some even left the hobby completely.
Maybe the future is for people to just wear hats and shirts with logos and consume energy drinks 24/7 while watching old races or sell your TV and get yourself a dual sport wirh a complete new interest .

Props to CBS for sparingly using my least favorite field reporter erin bates in the last episode of "as the knobby turns". And when they dont show ALL of both heats, that probaly means one of them was a runaway and not worth taking time away from shehan from touting the glory of "the fastest man on the planet" during the main (even while he's kissing dirt-again). Apparently some of you pilgrims werent around in the wide world of sports, read it in mxa, cycle world, cycle, not to mention cycle news months ago before you saw it on the tube days.
thankfully Aaron bates wasnt around than either.

Will BUBBA make the main???
Or will he lawn dart in his heat race?

I know it will be on youtube by Tues. I can't black out that long from racerx.

Apparently my local CBS affiliate is not showing the race. Sounds like a lot of us are having the same problem.
