Big Guns Media Group to produce the Midwest Tour in 2012Tuesday, January 31, 2012 | 4:55 PM
In 2012 the Midwest Tour will be produced by newly formed media company Big Guns Media Group (BGMG) and will be backed by title sponsor ATV’s and More in Salem, IL (www.atvsandmor.com). The Midwest Tour is a motocross race highlights show dedicated to the Midwestern region of the United States. Race coverage will include a variety of events ranging from Pro Nationals to large regional events. The current production schedule includes events in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Tennessee. The Tennessee coverage will include a daily race show from the Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championships. In preparation for the championship week at the ranch the Midwest Tour will be covering several of the Loretta Lynn Area Qualifiers and Regional events held in the Midwest.
This year’s show will once again be co-hosted by Tom Bradley and Brittany Newman. Both hosts return with a passion for sharing motocross with the rest of the world. Their personal knowledge of the sport and their ability to share that with the viewing audience helps make the Midwest Tour a show that appeals to motocross riders of all skill levels and backgrounds. Producer Ben Lynn returns for another year with the show. Field operations will be handled by Isaac Musgrave.
Previously shot on location in Rantoul, IL the show will now have a home at ATV’s and More in Salem, IL. Installation of the production equipment has already begun and visitors to ATV’s and More are encouraged to stop by to see the set at any time. Once complete the set will be accessible to visitors when not in use by the Midwest Tour production crew and guests are welcome, and encouraged to attend, during the actual recording of the shows.
