Supercross Class: LA Stats

This is the second time the gate will drop in Dodger Stadium for a Monster Energy Supercross race

In 2011, Dodger Stadium became the 40th venue to host a Monster Energy Supercross race

Dungey became the 10th racer to win a Supercross Class race on two different brands

KTM joins Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Can-am as the sixth brand to win a Supercross Class main event

Jake Weimer earned his first career podium with a second place finish; it was the best Supercross Class finish of his career

Kevin Windham earned his 110th top-five finish of his career with a fourth in Phoenix

Chad Reed earned his 125th top-five finish of his career with a fifth place finish in Phoenix

Trey Canard finsihed seventh, his first ride after an injury put him on the sidelines for the season opener

Ryan Villopoto joins Dungey as the only two racers to podium both main events this season

This was the 25th time that the winner of the season opener did not win the second race of the season. James Stewart was the last racer to win the first two races of the season (2007). In 1975, Jimmy Ellis became the first racer to win the first two races of the season

Josh Hansen earned his second consecutive top-10 finish with a 10th place finish in Phoenix

Before the 16th race of the 2011 season, James Stewart had never finished outside of the top five in back-to-back races. In the first two races of this season, he has finished out of the top five for in four consecutive races, dating back to the 16th and 17th races of 2011

Stewart is currently on his longest podium drought of his career at four races

Since 1974, the first rider to win two races in the season has gone on to win the championship 22 times
