This year for the GoPro Crossover Challenge, the media was told they had to race on 125cc bikes. I don't think anyone was disappointed to hear that. It's been awhile since some of these guys had raced, but it was awesome to hear the sound of 125's racing again.

Watching G.L. ride that 125 was bittersweet.......it was "sweet" because it was G.L. riding a 125, duh!! It was a little bitter because i remember flying out to Steel City specifically to watch him win the outdoor title in 2001 on a KTM 125......we all know what happened there! Good to see you on one of those again Mr. Langston!!!! Damn i miss that sound at the races!!
wait....no actual GoPro footage...what gives?
Good god 125s are slow!
That is all.
@Skidsteer16:
You are a moron. Other then a single PC pipe that I saw, those bikes are bone stock, and being ridden by old guys that are more then likely out of shape and practice.
And you clearly wern't around when JS259 was pulling holeshots on a 125 in a field full of 250f's. Because if you actually know how to ride a two stroke (which is a rare skill in this age) They will KILL ANY 4 stroke. PERIOD.
@JE97
Haha I love how serious people take these comments. JE97, can you ride a modded 125 faster than stock 250f? I think not. Probably because your are a lazy ass sitting on the couch who thinks hes faster than what he really is. Why dont you go ride and be happy. Even though they are stock bikes, they are still turds. Lets face it, we've all been through the stage of going from a 125 to a 250f and there was definitely some added speed there..... moron... haha so serious...
i am biased, but the 125 class was way more fun to watch. the 125's had to scream out of the corners just to have a prayer to make some of the doubles on the track. i wonder if any of the 125 class had enough power to clear the big double that is after after the big uphill hairpin then back down the hill?
