Steve,Jason and Ping ,
I love the podcasts and this week with the 2 stroke thing was great. I hope you guys would consider doing part of a show after the season that would address this issue more in depth.I believe when yamaha got there 250 4-stroke competitive every one else had to jump on the bandwagon or get left behind,so they where basically thrust upon us.I think if they look back on it now they may realize how they are not offering a cost effective entry level machine and also a supply of replacement partsas you need to replace pistons and rings more often on a 2-stroke. Keep up the good work guys.

Matthes, there is a flaw in your "apples to apples" analogy. You compared a 250 4-stroke to a 125 2-stroke. Things may be different in the industry if the 4-stroke didn't have a huge displacement advantage because they can't compete when all things are equal.

Since it is an entertainment industry at the pro level, what makes for better racing entertainment value?

Good podcast as always. Cheers.
