why does ping have to be so mean to some people in ask ping
he doesn't even know them and he is mean to them for some cheap laughs from readers
and then we be nice in response and kind of overdub the soundtrack with the Rolling Stones. But seriously, did you guys film this with a million pixle camera? Those knobbies are much more clear than the real ones in my garage.
ya...why is ping mean...ya...

Silly season is over and here is the score. Reed is paying Honda for MC's attempts to get the 450 to handle like a 93 250 and Ping gets a reallyreally trick HRC camera.
but seriously, today, i saw a Washington D.C. 20910 firetruck/chevy pickup that had "RECON" painted on the side and i didn't wonder if Ping could land that high speed gig
Still no hydraulic clutch? They have been using them on the factory bikes for the last 2-3 years i'm pretty sure!
Put Wide Pegs on ur 2011 and.... BAM... Ur now runnin a 2012...
Reed sure looks to be riding the hell out of those Hondas.......
Think I spotted an orange helmet or two in this Racer X film.......
Friends, no offense meant here but, if this is Hondas version of a P.R. hack, I'd prefer something easier on the eyes and stretchier on the sweater, if you get my drift. I would've learned the same things and not felt my time was wasted.
We all know it's a "refinement" year but, you gotta bring something more than "The MX51's are good". Really, good thing EVERYBODY is equipping their bikes with them now. Did Honda or Dunlop pay his wage?
So they did nothing worth spending 10K on ...
You can do pretty much all of the things they changed with aftermarket parts. Not worth it
Bike looks sick that chain roller really changes the feal of the bike! but really guys thats just a 2011 with bigger foot pegs dont wast your moeny on it
No hidraulic clutch? I realy desepointement!!
Who can afford to purchase this bike new in today's market and economy? We all like it and would love to own one, but we are looking at it as a cheap craigslist purchase in a year or two. how about that payment book you may have when some guy on a stock 2009 CRF450 or earlier has just roosted your face off recently on a bike that he bought for nothing on the list. 2012, nice chain roller dude!
Is it just me or do these Racer X bike intros sound like infomercials? We want a BIKE TEST not just some spoon-fed PR BS! Reed and MC were on hand - where's there opinion? Sure they're financially connected to Honda so can't be considered truly unbiased but at least it would've been fun to watch them tell us about the improved feel from the chain roller!
Racer X, you do so many GREAT things, how about lifting your game on these bike reports instead of selling your soul for Ad dollars?
Disappointed......you do realize it was a bike release/introduction???? So you want to hear Reed & McGrath say "we love the bike" even though you know they are on the payroll and wouldnt say otherwise??
"Selling your soul for ad dollars"...... Honda didnt pay to get that video on there and even if they did, you do realize thats how magazines generate revenue and stay in business??
Ill bet you got the name "Disappointed" from a family member because thats how they feel when you open your mouth....I would have given you the name "Village Idiot"
yet another bumpless test(TT) track. My friend has an 2011 CRF450 with about 4 hours on it and the clutch went out. Have they fixed the clutch yet? I love Hondas(?), but am disappointed with their current state of reliabiltiy. I'll stick with my 03 cr250 thank you very much!
With all the coments on chad moving to KTM why is he doing a Honda test ride?
Oh by the way can I get that chain roller for my hopped up 00 XR250?
yeah not much new just like last year. Thats why im still rocking the 2010 250 but theyre still amazing bikes. best out there by far. Kawi has to keep changing stuff cause everything on there bikes keep breaking
Hahahahaha!!! nice one O'Hannah! Some people just don't get it...
Production rule needs to go away until this economy picks back up. I know some of you dolts will blast me for this but it would bring the cost of bikes down for sure.
Where is my new CR 250 two stroke...? Cmon, thats what we want, not this over-prized thumper doodle-dang.
Holy Crap...I was thinking that same thing about the 2 stroke while I was watching this!
No thank you. Keep my trusty 2 stroke. Cmon honda bust out a cr250 smoker in the 6k range and watch em fly off the floor.
Big Deal...$10,600.00 each. Just bought three of 'em. It's only money.
Even if the government keeps taking away all of our public land for riding and delivering relentless harassment of riders enjoying the sport on our own private property, I'd still buy a few of them. With all the jobs leaving the country and investment principal stolen, pretty soon I'll be the only guy in the desert with a bike under 5 years old.
I'll remember those delightful days when I'm in jail sharing a bedroom with another man for disturbing the peace, trespassing, and God knows what else.
Duh.... Winning!
Try just try any of you MX maniacs to purchase a new 2012 KTM 250 SX two stroke off of the dealers floor, it's probably not happening because they are already sold, KTM did not build enough of them and will not do another production run this year.
Do some guys not realize that this WAS NOT a bike test, this was a press release from Honda?? I saw a few orange helmets out there myself, the Motocross Action guys were there also.
they didnt change anything big because they didnt need to... ive never had a clutch go out on my hondas, if you want a new one then buy a hydraulic one cheepskate, because they're not gonna put something that trick on a production bike just yet... and before you shit on hondas look at any other bike when they talk about changing the frame, all they do is try to make it more and more like a honda, and MC wont put his name on something that isnt the best motocross bike period... what bike has a 7 time supercross champion...or a rider two undefeated moto seasons
Maybe it was the camera work...they looked kinda slow?
