Brett Downey Safety Foundation Heads off to Mammoth
Those of you who are familiar with Mammoth and the track know there is a different breed of obstacles on the track which most amateur races don’t see and specifically are the large pine trees. It important to make sure your hands are protected and caution is taken when approaching these obstacles too closely.
Ricky Rickords will be in attendance for the first time working with the Foundation working alongside Mike Colbert and Mammoth Mountain crew assisting where there’s a need. Ricky will also be available to meet and talk to families and riders and help spread the safety message. You can find Ricky out and about trackside or catch him next to PanicRev setup where the Foundation is sharing space. Please, feel free to let Ricky know how much you appreciate all his hard work spreading the word about safety.
It’s the goal of the Foundation to get the message out about rider and track safety to each and every rider, parent, track owner and promoter across the country.
