You guys just keep getting better. Good show, and the production value is improving. Nice intro, and nice ending with the TV schedule that is there to see long enough to make a note of it.

Both of you did a great job. Keep it up!

One more thing.

I like it that you wear that retro-looking shirt, Weigandt.

What it says to me is that you respect the sport from earlier times - you don't look back on riders of the past with a disrespectful smirk, as if the modern riders are the only ones who ever rode motocross. As motocross historians, you look to the riders of long ago as being just as respectable and hardcore as riders nowadays.

You understand the contributions of riders from the '70s, the innovations in motocross that were spawned by that generation of riders. Those who raced, wrenched and designed back then created the greatest changes and improvements in a single decade, and you appreciate that. Suspension travel went from a few inches to a foot. Water pumpers were created for motocross. Supercross was invented.

Thank you, Racer X, for giving respect to the riders, mechanics and everyone else in motocross from previous generations. It won't be long before modern riders are looked at as old school, but we all know they deserve a hell of a lot of respect and admiration. Their contributions will not be forgotten by Racer X.

All this and more is what that retro t-shirt says to me.
