HOLESHOT!!!!!!!!!!!! BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPP GO RV2 & 22
Bagett should of been on a 450, damn he's fast outdoors. What a rough track ,that's awesome. Stewart tell the truth why you really weren't there, the Assie got ready in 2 weeks why couldn't you? Don't cry when you don't make the Trophy team this year (And I was pulling for ya).
unbelievable 1st outdoor race.
great weather , amazingly tough track.
450 : Dungey's ready to perform the whole season, Reed of course was unbelievable, Villo was still under the post title effect (remember RD last year at Htown?) Too bad Canard wasn't there! he would have mode it very interesting. too bad Kdub's factory bike had issues in first moto..and he was still jumping everything with a sputtering bike! He made us cheer and vibrate while it lasted!
Pourcel for sure is far from being ready both bike and shape wise so lets wait and see what Superman can do!? sad for Alessi.
250s: When you make a combo salad of PCs & FCs bikes, throw in an orange spice of Musquin's KTM, you basically have the menu of the 2011 outdoors.
Musquin's come back in 2nd moto from last to 6th left everybody in awe & wondering who the hell was #125!
Bagget was absolutely amazing with best lap times toward end of motos.
Wilson's finess, Barcia's wild style and Tomac's roost power....
Those 5 are part of a dramaless group of young kids who are coming up with amazing speed, talent but also work ethics and determination.
A whole new generation of riders, who will give us more of that intense racing we got the pleasure to witness this week-end.
PS : outstanding work by the promoters! really enjoyable facility
@ gowestyoungman :
You should be writing theses racer X columns , Great write up LOL and I agree with everything.
What a ride by Reed !!! Thats how you go racing, just about zero testing time and his own money and he won the race !! Thats how you do it... ( note to the # 7 rider at home crying because hes not ready ? )
Go 22 !!

Soooooooo, Allisports live webcast of the 1st moto's sucked out loud.
Never seen such crappy video, pixelated and choppy could even understand the commentary.
And FUEL TV ? Could Davey Coombs have picked a more obscure channel ?
Guess, I'll have to stay far away from Racerx online all weekend so i don't get spoiled, UNTIL I can see ONLY the second motos a day later, friggin awesome NOT.
Musquin is a cool dude. Reminds me of a french Jimmy Button.
Awe c'mon, does anyone believe that Reed is spending his own money? I don't think he is paying for the motors or other parts he has been getting, or the factory Honda he is now riding. Also, I don't think he is spending his own money to travel, just ask what's his idiot who wrote him a $10,000 check.
I do agree that Stewart is wimping out, no excuse not to ride the outdoors. It is not like he or his team have never ridden outdoors - the preparation he needs is to be in better shape and quit making excuses.
Baggett was haulin..nice ride Not a big Reed fan but that dude flat manned up and worked, and his bike 'that you can buy' worked great..nice ride + I don't remember ANYONE not doing the outdoors until "showtime". The # 1 plate should be decided on both SX and MX and if you don't want to do both ,fine.....somebody else does. Sh*t throw in a TT and see who can still bump and slide..lol ...and a enduro cross...I would pay to see all 4 events.
I have not seen the racing, I live out in western australia and am jealous of any commentary or coverage. RD1's speed does not surprise me at all, he is Mr consistant and he hasn't been hurt or had his momentum broken for sometime. Mr Reed surprises me abit but just that, a "bit". He has the skill, racecraft and good equipment and momentum. Now a healthy RV will make them work as would a focused JS7 or a healthy Trey Canard and A Short. I sence some great racing to continue this year, buckle up sports fans.
Honestly, never saw that one coming. I thought CR would be thereabouts, but never imagined he´d hand RD and RV their respective asses. He´s a bloody phenom, who has proven you don´t need a works team backing you if you want to win. Having said that, the second one will be much harder to get. Villapoto didn´t bring his A game to the track, and I imagine he´ll be a different proposition next time out.
In 250´s, a recovering Musquin showed just what we can expect when he´s 100% fit. Man, his speed is just plain awesome. I really love this guy with his broad grin and cheerful disposition. And his accent rocks LOL.
Any news on when the first moto's will be archived on Allisports???
Hey' How about some love for Mike Brown, out of MX for a couple of years racing Worcs etc. Comes back to score a 13th & 15th place to hang onto his #3 plate. Way to go and showed a few highly touted youngsters what you can do with being in shape & heart!
WOW Reed looked VERY VERY good. Only the 2nd time RD flat out got beat in over a year outdoors!! RD looked VERY good as well. RV seems Quietly Confident to me though. Who would have guessed JS and Alssie would be tied after the first race?? I feel bad for the 800, Never liked him but he seems to have grown up the last year or so.
@robkinseyart Brown does not keep his #3 yet, You need to score 25 points for the year so he still needs more to save his #3.
I was shocked to hear RD say he ran out of steam?? What??
Baggett turning faster laps at the end of that race!! Holy smokes, can't wait to see how he handles the other tracks. One thing for sure, the AMA is going to have a TOUGH time picking the MSDN team for this year!!
@Knobbywan_Kawnobi ... so far its RV, RD and Baggett, Easy pick so far
I wasn't there, & i know RV2 was not feeling well they say,(i believe em) ....BUT from the little bit they showed of RV,.. he looked to be to be cutting and thrusting" like supercross, instead of momentum & wfo? Anyone there see the same thing? I too can't believe Reed wore Dungey out......cant wait for next week. Baggett was awsome, I hope Barcia didnt screw his wrist up again? I think of RJ.
i just want a baggett shirt! ive looked high and low, cant find one,id rock it everyday..next season,he needs a 450,mitch has to let him move up,hed be a fool if he dont..i hate reed so much, not a fan,but good race, dungey pushed hard, but as he saw villo was way down, and reed was still comfortable,he kinna settled for second, right before the last two laps he decided seconds better than the medic crew right? baggett has props of ridin his bike the hardest of anyone all day, baggs had that 4-stroke humming man,i knew he had potential his first houston sx 2 years ago...knew it,ill put my money on him for a close title run,id love to see dungey come out wirth this season, and k-dub to follow up,he just needs consistent podiums to follow up the battles of dungey, reed, and villo..their likely to go down sooner or later, and that factory 14 will be close behind trailin, waitin, take my word, baggett(potential for title),dungey(consistent, could come out on top),reed(has potential for title, has to slip sooner or later) villo(i think hes gonna stay in shock from the last title)..interesting season, come back canard..
K-Dub 14!!
@joemotocross589 I believe RV turned the fastest lap in the first moto so what ever he is doing seems to work fine. He is sick and it was his first nat in 2 years he will be winning soon I bet.
STEWART IS A JOKE. I wonder how will people react IF Reedy wins the championship? people will be like he only wins if Stewart's out blah blah bullshit. Maybe Stewart will be the next Bradshaw who just faded away.
Well I'm really disappointed with the post show. It's great to have coverage so soon and all that, but it was so lame. Basically the highlights were all missed! I don't get how you had all these crashes and passes, yet your video doesn't show them. You show Barcia picking up his bike when we all saw that the crash was filmed. Why??? I know you can do better than this boys.
Gotta admit , for me With Canard out , And James not Riding , Short on a 350 , Alessi Hurt , Its gonna be Boring , I guess all I can do is what i do every year , GO !!! K DUB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lennoxlocal - love the Musquin/Jimmy Button thing. Both have that giraffe neck going on!!
What happened to Barcia in the second moto? I saw him go over the bars,
but he got lapped later on. Did he have bike problems?
blake baggett reminds me of ryan villopoto when he was it the lites class. Same team. same size. baggett is a little small. same riding style.
I was at the race and these guys were handing out flyers for http://www.dswbids.com and they just sold a pair of grips for $0.04 . Check the site out it way sweet!!!!
Cant believe REEDY took the overall!!! Man I wanted RV2 or Dungey1 to win... Must admit the Reedy is doing good on his own.
Its unfortunate that the women are not covered as much as the men. Why? The women rip, and represent our sport just as well as the men do. Please show more WMX videos, and please stop damaging our sport.
Only 8hr left on a new set of Fly Kinetic Gear!! As of now its Selling for $0.04 cents - Are you gonna hop on a deal like that? Check it out at http://www.dswbids.com
