Another lame, easy (for the pros) track.

Wow! This is supercross. This track looks technical and one with more than one line choice. I love the fact that the riders will be going backwards up the start straight.

Its going to rain pretty heavily up till Saturday morning, then again Saturday night, so this should be a mudder this year. Tear-offs....check.

I think red arrow needs to calm down on all the whips and focus on his lap times and line selection. He is starting to remind me of Barcia.

Wow, that looks pretty technical, plus all the ruts that'll form, should be a tough track!

ZIP197, I agree... He looks way too aggresive. the only thing we need is a rev limiter on arrow! Braaap! Pop, Pop.....

Those are the Sikest Whoops we've seen!! Lookin' fwd to seeing how the riders assault these. Sure to be interesting... How do you judge the height of those btw?? Place a bike between each and when you can't see the handlebars from a distance then they're deep enough??

Comedian wrote: 10:17am April 12, 2011

Hey...ZIP197....isuranceman227...you cats need to get off my boy red arrow...you...you Haters...next week you'll see tears as arrow crosses the finish instead of whips

Arrow wrote: 10:19am April 12, 2011

Ah what the phuck is with the arrow nowadays? at the start of the sx season he was gettin' it done and racing hard in a straight line and maybe giving a fist pump over the finish line, and now is throwing it sideways off every jump even the step on step offs! can we please see a crash for mr arrow next week off a large triple, i want to see him case it or even endo over a berm

Profile Picture
Comedian wrote: 10:23am April 12, 2011

I've never seen another arrow beat ole red for a single lap...that makes him the fastest arrow on the planet

I like it!! PLEASE NO MUD!!!

Profile Picture

Hey how deos the Red arrow stay so clean in a mud race and where is the mud for the arrow to have to plow through LOL...????

Profile Picture
Hawk wrote: 10:36am April 12, 2011

I'm not sure what others are seeing, but this looks to be the easiest track of the year so far. If it is dry, look for lap times in the 42-44 second range. I do not see any options to the jump combos. Lets hope its a bit wet, otherwise this will be a one lined super-speedway,and a 15 min. sprint for the 450's.

The tracks this year are dissapointing . (and thats being kind)

Rain Rut wrote: 10:40am April 12, 2011

Holy start straight batman!!! That has to be the longest start straight I have seen.....then you get to drag race back up the start straight....should make for some good drag racing....especially in the mud. The rythym section (looks like A2) looks fun.

Profile Picture
Didierlotsyeng wrote: 10:40am April 12, 2011

Forecasting rain.. but if it's dry.. This is a ideal track for RV!!!! He's gonna win it!!!!!

Profile Picture
hawk wrote: 10:40am April 12, 2011

39 second lap time for the Red Arrow....lol.

Profile Picture
Racer551 wrote: 10:45am April 12, 2011

The red arrow is becoming very lame... Slow the arrow down a little so a lap is not 15 seconds in length. You have to watch the video 2-3 times to see what different lines there are. And the whips are again becoming very lame. It was cool at first, when it happened over a triple but now it is every jump. Just go back to the basics PLEASE!!!!

Profile Picture
bd200 wrote: 10:47am April 12, 2011

The track looks a little more terchnical than St.Louis, that track was boring and easy. The first rythym section looks the trickiest to me. Lets hope RV2 gets that elusive win he needs real soon.

Profile Picture
slick wrote: 10:59am April 12, 2011

if the whoops are as easy as St. Louis js will put in on automatic and just run away and hide. that is assuming the track is somewhat dry. if it rains all bets are off. Go Big Red.

Profile Picture
Trend Killer wrote: 11:00am April 12, 2011

BD200 - St Louis was boring and easy?? It was probably the most technical race all year... I do hope RV wins though!!

Profile Picture
TC249 wrote: 11:33am April 12, 2011

Quit putting the starts in the middle of the tracks. Need to go back to having those long sweeping turns that lead to a long step on, step off rhythm section.

Looks like to me that Red Arrow is getting a little chubby. I like the track though.

Being from Washington State I would just like to say the supercross racing in this stadium has sucked ever since they built it. King dome was way better. So this is how it will go down like it does every year. The nice big whoops will flatten like a pancake do due the wet heavy soil used after usually the second or third heat race. The ruts will be knee deep throughout the entire track and will slow lap times considerably. Us fans will be freezing our butts off as we watch Windham, Villapoto, and maybe Stewart make the best run of of it. The rest will fight for it. Most of the track will be one lined and outside of a few good wrecks will most likely be uneventful. I hope I am wrong. On a side note Reed theoretically should do well but has not had much luck in Seattle in the past.

Ya'll need to check your weather reports. Most of the rain will come on Wed. Then 50% chance for Thursday and Friday with a tenth of an inch possible each day. Saturday is supposed to be partly sunny,. lets hope for that!! It is the weather though .............Who wants a mudder anyway with shortened main events and all wet and cold for the fans. We want to see the top five battle it out. Well at least see everyone else battling it out behind stewart for second. My bet is stewart wins out this season.

Profile Picture
BillC wrote: 1:25pm April 12, 2011

elusive win?? He has 5 wins, More than anyone!! All he needs is a start, If he can win that could ICE this thing baring somthing big. I hope its RV, TC, JS, CR, RD. That would Ice it.

whatever wrote: 1:26pm April 12, 2011

You are correct motofan2....as of now it looks as if the weather is going to start to dry out by saturday....could change but i hope not. I'd like to see the guys who are calling the ST. Louis track too easy go out and do a couple laps on it!! Too easy...that is funny!!

Profile Picture
djpaulone wrote: 1:26pm April 12, 2011

the red Arrow is So lame with the weakest animation. Can the arrow just do it's job and follow the course the way the riders would. I mean it was probably funny when they decided to do 1 whip back in Daytona, now it is just distracting and retarded. I hate when they waste Air time on the track map when they should just show you the track from the GoPro helmet cam.

Profile Picture
Lawlz wrote: 1:27pm April 12, 2011

Wow, after seeing the comments about the red arrow whipping it, the song 'whip it' by Devo (?) is playing on the radio on some radio station where I live lol.

Profile Picture

Whoever has the biggest sponge on top of their helmet and the coolest looking hand towel will win...Reed should have the hand towel covered (his 22 shift gear is far and away the coolest) As for the largest helmet sponge...it's anyone's guess.

how many boring races have we had this year...maybe one, and if you are a JS7 fan then none

these tracks are set up perfect for everyone to compete...its awesome
sarcasm here,,,,,"thats definitly what i want, a crazy tough track that two people can do and blow away the field" hence years past where carmichael and stewart lapped everyone...thats fun to watch

get a clue

I just "Rode" the Seattle track on MXSimulator....its FUN; a lot of airtime for sure but many choices of whre to land and where to pass... However... Seattle.... RUTS PREVAIL!

Profile Picture

I think we'll see a bunch of passes on that flat right-hander off the start straight before the finish.

Profile Picture

maybe the arrow thing would be cooler if they had a small arrows like red, blue ones doing the rhythm sections differently.

Weather reports are great for california but in washington state you have a better chance winning the loto then finding a correct weather report. It was supposed to pour down rain on sunday so we didn't go riding and it was nice! 1 thing for sure. The ground will be wet and the dirt will be soft. Ruts will be knee deep. The track might look easy But it won't be. Try looking at these and tell me how fun it would be to pick a line for a 70ft tripple.

All you people don't worry about "TECHNICAL" this is Seattle, and if you are not a mud-rider don't even bother too show-up! There will not be any rythem sections, just deep rut's, and rutted corner's, bring your rain gear, and a extra towel to dry off!

Profile Picture

Looks Like Rain Friday but should be good for Saturday!!! But you never know about Seattle weather.
West Coast again, Yeahoo

I think the trackbuilders have a handle on how to tarp the track and add drying agents for rain unless it is during the event. It may pool in low areas and rut up between sets but I bet it is not going to be a mudder. Look at the first few rounds and all the rain that dropped then.

Profile Picture
nick73 wrote: 11:41pm April 12, 2011

i wonder if its gonna be sandy as hell like last year?

Profile Picture
mxjoe99 wrote: 1:11am April 13, 2011

Last year the track was dry on race day. The dirt is very soft and sandy. It is different from any track and it should be great. The track is done and covered. Dirt werx did a great job getting it done before any rain.

Profile Picture
groomer wrote: 8:11am April 13, 2011

The track has two long straights which is good because the rest of the track will be muddy and rutted. There are not many whoops and they will be wore down by the second heat race. Forget about the rhythm sections - no one will be doing them. Its no fun watching riders roll over jumps and tipping over in ruts.

The open stadiums are a BAD idea this time of year...especially in Seattle.

It would be cool to see another rider win his home race. GO RV

X2 on Racer551. Slow the arrow down and tone it down on the whips. Ever heard of the phrase "use something too many times and it loses it's meaning"? We get it that the arrow gets attention from your audience with the "whips", but it's getting stupid now. Slow it down too. Between the excessive speed and the whips, it detracts from the track layout and what your audience is trying to key in on by watching this video--the flow of the track.

SlayinSlitsSince86 wrote: 12:16pm April 14, 2011

Seriously, I strongly agree w/ Corey and the others that said the arrow needs to take a chill pill. It looks like a twitchy C rider that moves around way too much and tries to whip it off every jump. Oh and it does 100 ft quads that even JS7 wouldn't do (don't remember exactly which track map, but it was a few weeks ago). Anyways, the track looks pretty cool, especially if its not too muddy. GO RV2!!!
