Anyone else notice how when a good rider is riding a 250 four stroke they are starting to sound more like a two stroke?

Go Ryan!

Love the "lake jump", cool track, awesome riding, but that gopro looks obnoxious; 10 yrs. from now those will look like the giant cell phones from the 80's, Gopro otta hook up with some helmet makers and integrate the tech. so every rider/fan (land or snow or sea or air PLUS tv coverage) has access to helmet cam footage from every outing/event/race/throwdown.

HD channel shot the TORC series last year with multiple gopro cams mounted on RC trucks (EMAXXs) the rc truck operators would drive them under the the race trucks as the big trucks were flying off jumps and stuff, sort of like what might happen if the nitro circus crew were drivng a fleet of tiny mule cams from the Daytona SX, haha. Cool footage.

I hope Ryan doesn't go to Honda in 2012, I hope he stays on the blue bikes when he moves up. Maybe he can ride for JGR or L&M San Manuel Yamaha.

What is the name of the song? Hate it when they don't put the name of the songs at the end of the vids.

Love this Video! The camera angles, and mix of the music back round, and just good old motor music is awesome! Great Job film & edit crew, and Go Ryan!

@greenflyer - No, have to disagree, no 4-choke will ever sound like a 2 smoke, but you can close your eyes and wish if ya want!

Wow, awesome video! It shows you just how much body position plays into being smooth and going fast; Sipes clearly has mad skills and seems like a really good kid (good job Mom & Dad Sipes!) from what I see.

Two things that caught my attention:

1. The bike did sound a little odd; maybe just super crisp, no 4-stroke slow chug for sure.

2. I wish I could learn to stay that far forward (way out over the bars) while accelerating hard & quickly to better pop-over obstacles, especially when coming out of a turn and going from sitting -- to standing – to being on the gas and leaning forward! I have such a hard time doing that – that I end up seat-bouncing everything! This is because when I'm on the gas (in this situation), it pushes my body back and I end up sitting -- and leaning forward hard while sitting!

I guess that's why Sipes is a pro and I'm an old, busted-up, C-class Vet rider!
