Jimmy Albertson – Knee
Comment: Albertson crashed on the third lap of his second qualifying session at Anaheim 1 and caught his leg under the bike. He underwent ACL surgery in late January but has just been released to walk. “The knee feels great and it makes me feel good that I spent the proper amount time on crutches because now I walk great with no limp,” Jimmy told us last week. “I'm working very hard with my trainer Greg Direnzo to get back on the bike ASAP! I should be back on the bike sometime in May and look forward to racing the outdoors this summer on my Merge Racing, Trey Canard, Banco Basura, Honda. We may miss they first few races but we are just taking it day by day.”

Jeff Alessi – Foot
Comment: Jeff’s father, Tony, told us that Jeff had to get his foot operated on and the surgery on his foot became a seven-hour ordeal instead of a quick thirty-minute procedure. He has been rehabbing it and may be back for Seattle if all goes to plan.

Derek Anderson – Back
Comment: Still suffering the effects from a crash at the Pala national. He compressed his back causing a herniated disk. He will most likely be out all of the 2011 SX season but hopes to return to action at the start of the outdoors.

Brett Metcalfe: Body
Comment: The combination of hard crashes in Atlanta and Daytona is forcing the Rockstar/Makita Suzuki pilot to the sidelines for the third race in a row.

Marvin Musquin – Knee
Comment: Actively rehabbing the knee he injured last November at the Bercy SX. He goes to physical therapy a few times a week and then works with his personal trainer about five days a week. He expects to be back on the bike in the beginning of April. His first race is set to be the USGP at Glen Helen before heading to the U.S. MX Nationals.

Kyle Regal – Wrist
Comment: The San Manuel Yamaha Red Bull rider injured his wrist while practicing in Florida the week prior to the Daytona Supercross, but he is expected to return to the Supercross Series and finish out the rest of the season.  According to a team press release issued yesterday, after further evaluation, medical experts concluded that Regal did not break his scaphoid bone, but that he had chipped his radius bone, which calls for a quicker healing period and is much less severe. Additional testing and evaluation will be done over the next week, but Regal could be back on the track as soon as Arlington’s race, in his home state.  “We are very excited to have him back,” said a representative of Team San Manuel.  “He is very talented and we know that he still has more to give to this Program.”

Gareth Swanepoel – Back
Comment: Was diagnosed with a compressed T 12 vertebra after he crashed in his qualifying heat in Houston. According to his team coordinator, Donovan Mitchell, “Gareth is almost fully healed and it looks as if he’ll just fully concentrate on outdoors as of now.”

Don't see anything on JS7, maybe they're keeping everything on the DL. If you're a JS7 fan or not, even if he may not be the greatest rider on the planet , you have to give the guy great respect as a moto racer. He has taken hits that would have retired all but a hand full of the top racers along time ago. He's alot like Ricky C, where as he has so much natural talent pinned up inside, he tends to over ride, when he could back it off just a little and still win. Hope he makes it back ok.

They need update the status on Josh Grant. Every week his status is "underwent additional surgery to his right knee today". Kinda misleading. Just a bit.

Right on motodogg. If JS7 would have backed down some he would be untouchable but he only knows one way. Did you see he had a hole in the back of his shirt after the Jacksonville crash? JS7 is straight up lucky. How many pple you know have taken crashes like that and still walking? The man above must be watching that boy. He may end up like Muhammed Ali. Not hating just saying. Enjoy life to the fullest while you can. No one knows about tomorrow. peace!!!

I'm sure JS is not 100% after last weeks crash but should be able to put his YZ up front if he can get a clean start!
