Mad Skills Motocross for iOS Releases Most Significant Update Yet
Adds choice of difficulty modes, the ability to race against or watch leaderboard times, and more
Morgantown, W.Va. – Mad Skills Motocross, which took the iTunes App Store by storm when it was launched in early January, has released its most significant update to date. Version 1.4 is now available for download on the App Store worldwide. It’s been decreased from its full price of $2.99 to only 99 cents, and is available as a universal app for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad, at http://mad.mx/hcvL6U.
The newest version of the heart-stopping side-scrolling racing game includes a choice of difficulty levels, allowing users to race either Amateur or Pro modes. In the new Amateur mode, the computer opponent (AI) is slower and more crash-prone, and the player’s bike is more durable and easier to control, making it more suitable for casual players. The Pro mode is the same serious challenge that most players of Mad Skills Motocross have come to love, only with a slightly more durable motorcycle.
Additionally, the track leaderboards have two exciting new features. Players will now be able to race against “ghosts” of top times on the OpenFeint leaderboards, or to watch replays of the best runs. There are now two leaderboards for each of Mad Skills Motocross’ 52 tracks: one for Amateur mode, and one for Pro mode.
