i don't get why guys like RV don't put more emphasis on the whoops, that's where Stewart is killing everyone, other than the quad he started doing last weekend, which was just insane!

Yea i believe Villopoto absolutley has what it takes to win the title this year, but he needs to be up there banging bars with stewart every round.

Good call on the Face to Face. I forgot how much that band rocks.

If Villopoto wants to take it to Stewart he's gona have to nut up and ride harder. He needs to hit the whoops harder and he should have been hitting the quad Stewart was hitting. I think he's got more speed in him but he's gona have to push it harder and not ride comfortably behind Stewart.

Like I said last year RV is the only one who will have something for JS and so far that true. GO RV!!!! I really hope everyone is healthy and does the nats. To see RV and JS go at it outdoors would be so GREAT!!

RV is super fast but when it comes to being a technical rider thats where he comes up short against james @ A2 i thought he was gonna give #7 all he could handle and the quad quad looked super cool but it wasn't that much faster! The whoops & corners is where he needs work. Also i've said this for YEARS when my freinds rode on the factory or sat. teams Suzuki-Honda-Kawi-Ktm-Yamaha practice tracks are all within 5 min of eachother why not rotate the tracks among the factory teams so the riders can practice on 5 great but very diffrent tracks?? It would be good for everybody!

Riding outside of his comfort zone this early in the season is nuts, save that for when he's got nothing to lose. RV and his team will no doubt have to put themselves in a position to pressure JS and make him feel like he has to do a little more to win but he has to be in that zone while doing it. RV has proven he can fly; now he's learning how to use the right amount of patience to take a 450 championship from a rider at the pinnacle of his career and I have no doubt he has the riding skill to do it..

rv's track at his house they filmed at just before A1 seems more technical. sad that weimer busted his arm up there.

JS fan big time, but RV sure has earned my respect. Look at how fierce and close these two have been. Every race, whoever wins shows respect for the other, leave the lip for the laps, not mic. I respect both of them for racing in a respectful manner, they both know its between them if nobody gets hurt. And when 2 champions act like this, it shows the little ones on PW50's how to compete, what they see they become. Again, RV & JS, good show of competiveness and class.

He's really fast... Being behind of Stewart most of the time will help RV to learn a lot about Supercross...

It's so hard to judge his speed when so much of the video is in slow motion. I agree the whoops and corners are where he needs to improve to beat JS7.

I think RV's corner speed is fine.. He could use a little more speed in the whoops though.. You see,, where JS is head and shoulders above the rest is the speed he is able to hit jumps at. He hits the jumps faster and is able to stay low and get to the ground quicker. He absorbs the jumps..

I almost forgot... The BEST thing is his passing ability.. He passes poeple before they even know he's there...

in order for RV to go stewarts speed, he has to ride out of control. RV might not get hurt this year, but he will crash himself out of championship contention.

He took the points lead! JS deserved to crash twice. i feel bad for the rider he took out. a smart rider would have chosen a different line and not have tried to be all cool and jump over him.

RV looks the goods this year, I believe he is riding smart. He does ride on the edge when he is behind, but thats what makes him great to watch, Good luck Ryan with such a high level of competition this year it will a kick ass season if you win it.

@44 I'm pretty sure Stewart is gonna be the one to wreck out this year. He might be the fastest guy on the track but he definately has the capability to be one of the most unintelligent. That might not be one wreck that injures him badly enough to have to drop out, but enough mistakes like Houston are gonna cost him. Because now there are at least 3 guys who can capitalize on any one mistake Stewart makes.
