Carmichael/Abbott/Beams/Shasta on DMXS Tonight
The next several weeks will be busy for Turner Motorsports’ Ricky Carmichael as he will kick off the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Daytona on February 18th in the familiar Monster Energy #4 truck. He will return shortly to the historic Florida track to once again host the second year of the popular Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross and Ricky Carmichael University following the Daytona SX in March. If that wasn’t enough, his camp will be releasing the RC Motocross Matchup game through Apple and iTunes soon that will allow players to compete head-to-head with players around the world for the first time. We also have plenty to bench race about with four rounds of SX in the books, so make sure you tune in for this one tonight. You can check out www.RickyCarmichael.com for more information on the GOAT, and www.MXSports.com for details on the RCASX and RCU.
The sport suffered a great loss last week with the passing of two-time WORCS Champion and ISDE Gold Medalist Nathan Woods while he was practicing for the opening round of the 2011 series. Nathan was just on DMXS in October as he was preparing with his team for the ISDE in Mexico and we were proud to considered him a friend. We wanted to add our sincere condolences to his family and honor his contributions to the sport and world tonight with his good friend and fellow racer, Destry Abbott. Godspeed, Nathan.
Monster Energy AMA Supercross will host its second annual PINK themed race in support of finding a cure for breast cancer at Angel Stadium this Saturday. All the riders and teams will be going pink to help fund the Susan G. Komen 3-Day 60-mile walk. Following the race, there will be an eBay auction with some of the best swag from the top riders, so check out www.Supercrossonline.com for the details. Shasta Johnson will be on tonight to hype up this worthy night of racing so make sure you wear PINK if you’re attending A2 and help spread the word!
CompleteRacingSolutions.com’s Robb Beams is part of the DMXS team and returns tonight with some exciting news on his participation at the RCASX and RCU, as well as some FREE entries into both events. We will have all the details on how you can enter tonight, so make sure you tune in for your chance to win once of these coveted spots. Check out www.CompleteRacingSolutions.com for more information on Robb and his complete line of training for every skill level of athlete.
