TUF Racing Wins Second Arenacross of the Year
Adding to his sucessful night, Jeff also pulled off an increadible win in a very intense “Dash for Cash “ race prior to the main event. With a last lap pass on Tyler Bowers, Jeff took home the “Dash for Cash” prize and set the stage for a very exciting main event.
In the main event, Bowers took the holeshot with Gibson tucked in right behind him in second. The two of them quickly seperated themselves from the pack and established themselves as the guys to beat this week. Gibson put the pressure on Bowers for almost 15 laps before forcing Bowers to make a mistake that would drop him back to 4th place behind Skaggs and Johnson. Gibson never looked back and rode his way to his 2nd victory of the season in two races.
TUF Racing’s Cole Siebler had a tough night in Kansas City. After some last minute adjustments to his bike before the main event, Cole struggled throughout the main event as he did not seem to be able to get comfortable on the new bike.
Jeff had this to say on the winner’s podium. “I thought my bike was awesome last week, but this week it was perfect as I could pretty much do anything I wanted out there tonight. I look forward to next week to be back in front of my hometown crowd in Dayton Ohio.”
