Thirty years ago, the 1980 U.S. Grand Prix of Motocross at Carlsbad saw one of the single most shocking upsets in motocross history, as California privateer Marty Moates swept both motos to became the first American to win the U.S. 500cc Grand Prix. Todd Huffman and his crew have immortalized the moment with a feature-length documentary about that extraordinary day, which will debut on June 22 -- the thirtieth anniversary of the event -- in Southern California.
