-Ryan Dungey and the Rockstar Makita Suzuki team head into Seattle focused on racing and winning.
-The RM-Z450 has propelled Dungey to five wins and four holeshots so far in 2010, and Austin Stroupe also nabbed a holeshot aboard the RM-Z450 earlier in the season.
Brea, Calif. - With the series winding down, Rockstar Makita Suzuki heads to Qwest Field in Seattle with the same determination and focus as the past 14 races. Ryan Dungey and his team set out to win this year, and that won’t change as the team prepares for the Seattle round of AMA Supercross racing.
Dungey heads into Seattle with a singular focus to continue his success. After winning a hotly contested main event in St. Louis last Saturday, Dungey earned enough points to put him comfortably ahead in the series points chase. His Rockstar Makita Suzuki fuel-injected RM-Z450 has been on point in 2010 and has earned five victories and four holeshots. The RM-Z’s immediate power output has allowed Dungey to pull away from the pack and to power his way through the rough and busy Supercross tracks with utmost confidence.
“I just prepare for each race as it comes, work hard, and try to have some fun out there,” Dungey said. “I’m looking forward to the race in Seattle, to get back to the fans on the West Coast, and just enjoy my time on the track.”
Before the racing gets underway, Ryan Dungey will be making an appearance at Renton Motorcycles located at 3701 E. Valley Road in Renton, where he’ll sign autographs from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday night. Racing action kicks off on Saturday at Qwest Field in Seattle. Look for the No. 5 RM-Z450 of Ryan Dungey to be in front of the pack and on the podium.
