Thor/Parts Unlimited: The Big D
March 22, 2010 4:02pm
The last thing that you would have thought about Dallas, Texas in late March is that there would be snow, but that is exactly what we got on Saturday leading up to Supercross action. While the snow may have cooled everyone down in the pits, that did not stop Thor TV from adapting to the weather and going mobile throughout the Dallas Supercross pit area.
Thor TV was fortunate to sit down with some of the top names in the sport and you can check out the footage with Mitch Payton (Pro Circuit/ Monster Energy/Kawasaki) and Bevo Forte (Scott USA) by clicking on their names.
On the track this weekend, passing and early crashes made for tough racing conditions but Christophe Pourcel and Ryan Villopoto made the best of it. After being involved in an incident off the start that collected nearly the entire field, Pourcel climbed his way from last place to finish a very respectable seventh on a track that proved to be very difficult to pass on. Villopoto also had to claw his way through the field and was able to finish with an impressive fourth place result after running the first couple laps in the middle of the field. Pourcel remains in the lead in the East Coast Lites class and Villopoto is still very much in contention for the Supercross class championship.
Thor TV will be back in action next week in Jacksonville, Fla. Be sure to check out thormx.com, Facebook, and YouTube for updates each week.
