Toronto, Canada- With the AMA Supercross series headed north to the Great White North of Canada, the BTOSports.com/BBMX/Palmetto Suzuki SX race team needed to get out of its doldrums of the last few weeks. And it seems that 250 rider Troy “Fatty McCheeseburger” Adams was just the tonic that the team needed.
Adams was on it all day, easily placing in the top ten in practice times and getting off to a good start in the main event. Troy rode strong all night long and ended it in eighth place in the highly competitive 250 East Coast Region. With his top ten, Troy moved up into thirteenth in the standings and is within shouting distance of the top ten.
Jason Thomas continued to be a top twenty 450 rider when he placed fourteenth in the 450 class. The switch to the Suzuki’s seems to be agreeing with Jason as he is now seventeenth in the series standings and looking to move up higher in the coming weeks.
The other team riders Kyle Keylon and Lucas Crespi both struggled with bad starts and crashes and were unable to make the main event. Keylon especially had a heartbreaking night as he missed qualifying out of the heat by one position and then the same in the LCQ. For his efforts, Kyle was rewarded with the Asterisk Medical Card.
