MX Sports Pro Racing Mourns the Passing of Racer Oscar Diaz
Morgantown, WV - MX Sports Pro Racing, the producers of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, mourns the passing of professional motocross rider Oscar Diaz, who died in a tragic shooting over the weekend after a motocross event in Guatemala.
Diaz, originally of Costa Rica, worked his way through the amateur motocross system in the U.S.. He raced the annual Air Nautiques/AMA Amateur National Championship at Loretta Lynn Ranch starting in 2005 and then worked his way through the Intermediate and Expert ranks. This year, Diaz turned pro and qualified for Michigan's Red Bud National in July.
