August 31: Ezra Lusk was one of the only guys who pressured McGrath for the Supercross championships in the late-nineties. But injuries took a toll, and Ezra retired at an early age.

September 4: In 1987, Ronnie Tichenor won the 125 East Supercross title. Team Suzuki then moved RT up to the 250 class and he would go to battle with the likes of Lechien, Johnson, and Wardy. Today, Ronnie teaches many of the young talents that come out of the state of Florida.
