Skullcandy Signs Justin Brayton and Tarah Gieger
TEMECULA, CA - Skullcandy is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to their MX/SX squad. Both Justin Brayton and Tarah Gieger have jumped on board and will be running the Skull at a race near you! A leading developer in core audio products, Skullcandy is excited about their two new action sports competitors. Jason Kimball of Skullcandy mentioned, “I am hyped to continue working with Brayton as he works, rides and represents harder than most out there. Tarah has a personality and vibe all her own, which is a perfect fit for the brand...plus she rips on her bike! We are stoked to have them represent SKULLCANDY at X GAMES 15 and look forward to a solid future with them both.”
Gieger’s reaction to her new deal was, “I’m really pumped to be picked up by Skullcandy. Music is a big thing in my life and with as much as I travel, I pay a lot of attention to the quality of my headphones. Skullcandy has always been one of my favorite companies and I am psyched to be part of their team.”
Brayton, just as eager, commented, “I travel nearly every weekend, so having Skullcandy as a sponsor is nice. Their products are awesome looking and first-class.”
Brayton and Gieger will both race this Saturday at X Games 15 in Los Angeles, CA.
Brayton, an X Games veteran, has been working hard to be a serious competitor this weekend in the Moto X Super X Men’s event. Last year, Brayton took the bronze medal in the Navy World Motocross Championship. Now, he is coming off of a fourth place overall at Washougal in the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. Look for Brayton to be a podium contender at X Games.
Making history in X Games 14, Gieger took the gold medal in the first ever Moto X Super X Women’s event. She will be defending her medal this weekend. After being out of the Women’s Motocross Championship this summer, due to a wrist injury, she is really excited to make her come back.
