CORE Disabled Veterans Ride Day
Cambridge, IA - Cambridge Off-Road Enterprises, Inc. (CORE) will be holding a Disabled Veterans Ride Day on September 20, 2009. Activities are set to begin at 12:00 PM and run until 6:00 PM. Activities will be held at the CORE OHV Park, located at 1000 Center Street in Cambridge, IA. The event is open to the public and admittance will be free of charge.
The ride day was the idea of CORE club member Andy Robinette, himself a rider with a disability sustained in a non- riding accident. Andy and other club members have volunteered the use of their personal motorcycles, ATV’s and side-by-side vehicles which have been set up for persons with disabilities. Veterans and other individuals with disabilities will have the opportunity to operate these vehicles, or simply ride along as a passenger.
For more information, please contact CORE President Dennis VanArkel via email at dennis@ohvcambridge.com, or Andy Robinette by telephone at 515.210.4007.
