Sherri Cruse to Race CIRCLE K Inspired Bike at X Games 15Wednesday, July 29, 2009 | 5:10 PM
20-year-old Cernic’s/AXO rider Sherri Cruse will be competing in the Women's Super X event in X Games 15, the biggest and most prestigious action sports competition on the planet. She will be looking to trade in her 2008 Silver medal for Gold. Women's Super X will include ten of the top women motocross racers in the world competing for the gold medal and the largest ever women’s racing prize purse.
The competition will take place on Friday, July 31st, and Saturday, August 1st at the Home Depot Center sports complex in Carson, California. Seeding will take place on Friday from 6:00 to 7:00pm, with the main event at 6:15 on Saturday. The main event will be carried live on ESPN Saturday, August 1st.
“I am excited to be representing Circle K/Thirstbuster at the X Games” said Cruse “The Circle K graphics look great and their added support will help me go for the Gold Medal”.

As Cruse joins the Rick Ware Racing team, she is surrounded by Championship titles. RWR has won the past three AMA Arenacross titles, two WMA Motocross Championships and seven Bowman-Gray Modified Titles in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Series. Ware Racing and Circle K also compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the AMA Motocross with such notables as Jeff Gibson, Josh Demuth, Kerry and Jeffrey Earnhardt, Stanton Barrett, Tim Brown, Travis Kittleson, Daryl Harr and Tyler Bright.
