DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX Washougal Wrap-Up
Washougal, Washington - In the beautiful Pacific Northwest there lays a motocross track like no other, the historic and scenic Washougal Raceway. And it was site of round eight of the Lucas Oil AMA National Motocross Championships. Your favorite race team, the DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX squad felt pretty good when they left the track as their riders, Jason “Hi-center” Thomas and Lucas “Nice and“ Crespi both had races they should be proud of.
Thomas, from Tampa FL, had one of his best days this year as he went 19-14 against the factory stars. His second moto was great as he went down when he was just outside of the top ten, got going and caught back up to fourteenth. JT$ is coming on right now and we’d like to think that it’s because he’s finally realizing that good starts is key in a good finish.
Crespi, from Melbourne FL, just turned pro last week in Minnesota and he has yet to finish outside the top twenty so far. The kid has solidified his place as someone to watch in 2010 and has already earned himself a two-digit number for next year. The rook went 19-19 in Washougal and he was higher at one point before tiring a bit.
“I’m happy with our race” said team manager Forrest “gump” Butler “Lucas is turning into a real solid pro and JT, well he’s been a pro since Jesus was in diapers.”
