Dean Wilson Wins Canadian MX2
June 22, 2009 1:56pm
Dean Wilson does it again, with another win in the MX2 class at Edmonton. Not achieving the starts he hoped for, the fans were treated to Wilson pushing the limits as he navigated his Canidae Motosport Kawasaki through the pack. Wilson was able to overcome hard charging leader, Teddy Maier late in the first moto. Maier finished third overall in the 2008 series, and is again showing his best with great starts and an improved fitness level. Wilson and Maier finished first and second, respectively, in both motos at the beautiful Edmonton race track. Dean finished out his time in Canada with a perfect score: six number one finishes in six motos, capping an amazing start to the outdoors.
Look for Wilson as he makes his way back to the United States to race the NMA Ponca City Amateur National and the Prestigious AMA Loretta Lynn’s in August.
