Nicole Madsen's High Point Report
Pennsylvania was awesome. The weather was good the track was tough and the people were very nice. Dad and I had a great time trying the local restaurants and shopping at the local stores.
On Saturday afternoon, I had my first look at the track and wow I knew had my work cut out for me. There were deep ruts, doubles that were gnarly and mud that was slick. In moto #1 I had a horrible start and fought my way back to 15th place before the race was over (I was not happy with my result).
We were the last race of the day and the fans were great and stayed to watch us (That means a lot to us). I had another famous start, but was determined to do better. I was in 20th place into the first corner and I was not going to give up. I passed eight riders and made my way to 12th place by the 7th lap. I ran out of time to reel in riders or I think I could have done better (13th over all). I had a great time, and I want to thank Honolulu Hills Raceway and all my sponsors for their support. I should have my race bike back by Washington and hopefully that will make a difference. My next race is June 27th in Lakewood, Colorado.
Thank you all, Nicole Madsen #174.
