Madsen Ready for WMA Round #1

Bakersfield, CA - JR Publications announced today the entry of Nicole Madsen for Rnd #1 of the 2009 WMA Lucas Oil Motocross Championships.  Madsen will enter her rookie year in the premier class and continue to build her experience and challenge the best women riders in the world, come this Saturday.

"I'm really looking forward to Glen Helen.  It seems like it's taken forever but I'm finally glad it's here.  I have built a ton of relationships with these riders and I'm really looking forward to going out, racing them and hanging out with them again.  Obviously my goal is top 10, but to be honest, I will be happy wherever I finish.  I am just so thankful to have this opportunity to ride as a professional women's motocross racer and I am very blessed where I'm at today.  I have great sponsors behind me and they have supported me more than I could've ever expected.  Charlie, Darin & Darrell at Honolulu Hills have been with me from the start and I can’t thank them enough. Darrell and the crew at WWR. Jason Reed does a fantastic job with my media exposure and keeping my sponsors dialed in, Chris Honnold over at O'Neal always has me in the newest gear and Decal Works does a great job with getting my bike dialed in for graphics as you can see in the photo. Along with them, all my other sponsors and mechanic Larry Dixon, I just want to make them proud this summer." Nicole Madsen

"She's getting there. She knows this is a whole new ballgame form the off-road and I think that she just needs to jump in a and get a feel for this.  No better time than now, with the new transition of the WMA over to MX Sports. These women have a tremendous future ahead of them and I think this is just the beginning of good things to come for them.  Nicole just needs to put her head down and moto and gain experience. She's got great sponsors and her family is very supportive of her career." Jason Reed of JR Publications

Nicole will take the gate this Saturday along with the rest of the best Women riders in the country.  Be sure to catch them on SPEED and live call on Alli Sports this summer on
