Cruse and Van Vugt Autographs in St. Louis
MORGANTOWN, WV – With the St. Louis Supercross just hours away, MX Sports is encouraging the thousands of fans in attendance to check out the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship booth at the Monster Energy Supercross Pit Party from noon-5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 21.
WMA competitors and stars of MTV’s Nitro Circus Jolene Van Vugt and Sherri Cruse will be hanging out throughout the day, signing autographs at 3 p.m. and meeting the fans. Additionally, MTV will capture footage of the girls’ appearance to be featured on a future episode of Travis Pastrana’s Nitro Circus, which airs Sunday nights at 10 p.m. E.T.
Van Vugt is a regular on the program as a member of Pastrana’s close knit group of fearless friends. This summer, she will compete again in select WMA Nationals. Cruse achieved tremendous success last year in the WMA. She consistently finished on the podium at the nationals, while also grabbing a silver medal at the inaugural women’s event at the X Games.
Those who stop by on Saturday also have the chance to enter the “Team Member of the Day” with Monster Energy Kawasaki Sweepstakes. The grand prize winner will receive airfare to the race of their choice during the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, two nights of hotel lodging, a rental car, and two VIP credentials to the chosen race. The lucky recipient will also receive a team shirt and team hat while having the opportunity to hang out in the Monster Energy Kawasaki pit until the gates drop on the day’s first moto.
The winner will be announced at the final Monster Energy Supercross race in Las Vegas on May 2 and will promptly be posted on the MX Sports website.
Additionally, visitors to the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship booth can have their photo taken with Miss MX.
Anyone who stops by will take home a keepsake AMA Pro Motocross Championship poster courtesy of MX Sports and Racer X.
