“Honda’s generosity with the racers loyal to its brand will be very evident on the Great Lakes Michigan Mafia Championship Series tour,” said GLMX’s Amy Ritchie. “We have a lot of racers on Hondas registered at our events – so the competition’s going to be fierce for those coveted Honda contingency dollars. Fortunately for the Red Riders they’ve come up with almost $40,000, which will be spread out over numerous classes so most every Honda rider has a shot at some contingency dollars.”
Dubbed “The Battlegrounds,” the Great Lakes Michigan Mafia Championship Series will showcase a wide range of classes for the Honda competition dirt bikes. Honda contingency classes include: 9-13 85cc and Senior (12-15) 85cc, 250cc C, Women Junior, +40, +45, Women Senior, Supermini (12-16), Schoolboy (12-16), Schoolboy Lites (12-16), College Boy (14-24), 250 B, Open B, +25, +30, +35, 250 A and Open A. Class wins on a Honda will pay up to $150 and pay cash all the way down to 5th place in each class!
