EVS Athletes - From Anaheim 2 to Ohio
The latest round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series, which rolled back into Angel Stadium for the 2nd Anaheim race of the year, put two of the Monster Energy Cernic’s Kawasaki riders into the Main Event. Paul Carpenter, who expanded on his Privateer Challenge points lead, finished 11th overall in front of the 43,009 fans that were in attendance. His teammate Robert Kiniry took home the 19th spot aboard his KX450F. The other sole EVS rider who brought home top honors in the 450 Supercross class was Josh Hill with a 12th place finish. In the Supercross Lites class, Chris Blose finished within the Top 5 with a 5th place finish while Michael Hall came in 9th and Ben Evans rounded out the night in the 14th position.
Overall points leaders in the 450 Supercross class include Paul Carpenter in 11th, Josh Hill in 12th, Robert Kiniry in 17th and Daniel Blair in 25th. Chris Blose holds steady in 5th place in the Supercross Lites class overall points standings while Ben Evans is in 8th, Michael Hall is in 19th and Micheal Blose rounds out the group in 27th.

Last weekend’s round of the AMA Arenacross Series, held at the Nutter Center in Dayton, OH, brought out the top talent in many of EVS’ riders. With only one night of racing, unlike the usual two night format, the racing was tight and the tensions ran high as the racers battled head to head during Saturday night’s racing.

With two main event wins this season, Nathan Skaggs remains in 2nd in the overall AX points standings while Chad Johnson sits in 4th, Michael Willard in 5th and Josh Demuth in 6th. Jim Neese is in a three way tie for 9th, Shane Sewell is in 12th, Kelly Smith is in 14th, Zach Ames is 17th and Kurtis McCabe is 26th.
The Arenacross series will travel to The Broadbent Arena in Louisville, KY next week for the upcoming round of action.
