Michael Willard Inks Arenacross Deal

After sweeping three of the four main events at the Des Moines Arenacross back in November, Ohio's Michael Willard recently inked a deal to contest the 2009 AMA Arenacross series as a member of Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green.
"After his success in Des Moines, Michael really showed an interest in racing the Arenacross Series full time," says Kawasaki Team Green's motocross supervisor, Ryan Holliday. "I was confident that he would do well considering his racing and testing experience in supercross and he's no stranger to Arenacross either. It's something different for Team Green as our primary focus in Arenacross is the Monster Energy Babbitt's Kawasaki team, but this gives us a great opportunity to have another Kawasaki in the series and hopefully battling for a championship."
The 2009 National AMA Arenacross Series kicks off January 2-4, 2009, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. For more information, check out www.arenacross.com.
