Kyle Lewis won the World Vet Championship in patented Lewis style: get good starts and put in consistent laps. Simon Cudby
Ryan Hughes was the fastest guy there, but as any of my old riders know all too well, the bike has to finish also. His 2009 Honda looked good when the coil was attached also. Simon Cudby
Craig Decker would've won if AMA scoring was used; he is always a factor at this race and still looks great on a bike. Simon Cudby
Old pro racers don't retire, they just race REM on the weekends. Tony Amaradio started strong both motos and finished seventh overall. Simon Cudby
Rusty Holland came out and looked fast on his 2009 Kawasaki. I was a bit bummed out that he didn't take anyone out like the old Russ used to, but maybe next year. Simon Cudby
Ping came out and went 6-6 with me holding the pit board. I'm used to working with winners and he's probably used to working with guys that tighten bolts. Ping was bummed at how tired he got until I told him everyone looked tired. Simon Cudby
Greg Schnell showed up! He was a front-runner but went down hard in the second moto. Apparently, Schnell is making a comeback in supercross. Simon Cudby
