Ryan Dungey, Professional Motocross/ Supercross Racer
Rockstar Makita Suzuki Factory Racing's Ryan Dungey celebrated an overall 3rd at the U.S. Open of Supercross in Las Vegas' two nights of racing at the MGM Grand a couple weeks ago. What's even more impressive is he did it on an RMZ-250 while the rest of the field competed on 450's. It looks like he will be extremely tough to beat this Supercross Season in the Lites Class. He joins us to talk about the upcoming season.
Jimmy Jarrett, Professional Offroad Racer
Jimmy Jarrett is one of the most successful Offroad Racers today. Some of his accomplishments include 5 GNCC Amateur Titles, 5 I.S.D.E Gold Medals, and 4 OMA National Championships to name a few. He races for the FMF Suzuki Offroad Team and lives in Salem, Ohio. This year he has had some pretty tough competition and only managed to win one OMA National, a series he has dominated for the last four years. He beat out Paul Whibley this past weekend at the Moose Run, the final OMA National of the year, and joins us to talk about his experience on this very tough course.
- Second Hour -
Tim Calhoun, US Brand Manager, LeoVince
Tim has over twenty years experience in the Powersports Industry in multiple capacities covering the wholesale, retail, distribution and manufacturing arenas. This year the AMA passed a new sound rule to 94 dBA for professional Supercross and Outdoor Nationals in the U.S. Tim will be on to talk about how LeoVince has taken measures to have all of their exhaust systems for 250F's and 450F's comply.
William J. Davidson, Vice President of Core Customer Marketing - Harley-Davidson Motor Company
Bill Davidson is the third generation Davidson since the original Davidson brothers started up with William Harley in 1903. Bill has been working for the motor company for more than 20 years now and has experienced the rise in fortunes throughout the nineties to this present day. Harley has been very successful in Dirt Track Racing and dominated the sport for several years. Big changes are about to take place in the rules structure for Professional AMA Dirt Track racing that could make that more difficult to do for Harley. Bill will be on to talk to us about it.
Aaron Stevenson, Chief Instructor, Cornerspeed and Cornerspin Schools
Cornerspeed® is the official motorcycle school for V.I.R. (Virginia International Raceway). Fully accredited by WERA and CCS, students that complete the course are eligible for their provisional racing license. A spin off of the Cornerspeed program is Cornerspin, a school that focuses more on Dirt Track and Supermoto techniques and how they apply to road racing. Aaron joins us to tell us more about the programs.
