Tommy Weeck Injury Update
TEMECULA, CA--On Monday, June 2, Tommy Weeck was out at Starwest riding with his trainer, Ryan Hughes, preparing for his Loretta Lynn’s qualifier this weekend at Glen Helen. He was feeling confident and decided to try to quad a certain section. Weeck cased the jump and went over the bars on his KTM 250SX-F.
Unfortunately, Weeck broke bones in both arms and both ankles. Needless to say, the factory KTM amateur rider will be off of the bike, and off of his feet, for several months. Tommy is in good spirits and his surgeries have gone well. He is upset about missing out on a summer full of racing, with Mammoth coming up and later with Loretta Lynn’s.
Weeck will be out for quite some time, but he is already looking forward to being back on his bike. Keep an eye out for more updates on Weeck’s condition.
