The Monster Energy Supercross series made its 15th stop this weekend in Seattle, WA for the final battle of the west coast heavy hitters. Seattle was expected by most to be a muddy, rainy, nightmare but turned out to be an unbelievable day of racing for Fly.

Lites Heat 1: When the gate dropped for the first race of the night it was Fly riders Zach Osborne and Chris Blose with top ten starts. Both riders continued to ride really well throughout the heat race not making any mistakes qualifying for the main in 5th and 6th position. Fly rider Brady Sherren struggled and would move to the LCQ.

Lites Heat 2: After the start of Heat race 2 it was Fly riders Robert Kniry, Matt Lemoine, Will Hahn and Shaun Skinner all inside the top ten. Sitting in 11th was west coast points leader Jason Lawrence who would have to battle back during the heat to second place where he would transfer to the main with a dominating effort. Also qualifying for the main event was Kniry finishing 4th, Matt Lemoine finishing 5th, Will Hahn finishing 6th and Shaun Skinner finishing 9th making 5 of the 9 qualifying positions Fly riders. Moving to the LCQ would be Fly Rider Kyle Cunningham who crashed.

Lites LCQ: With Most of our riders already qualified for the main event we only had 2 riders in the LCQ one of which being Kyle Cunningham who would have a great ride and finish 3rd moving to the main event. Brady Sherren Having a rough night would not qualify for the main event.

Lites Main Event: When the gate dropped for the title bout of the night it was lone Fly rider Kyle Cunningham inside the top ten with points leader Jason Lawrence sitting in 11th place, Lawrence quickly moved through the pack making his way up to 2nd place at the ½ way point but had to go no further because of points reasons only had to finish in 2nd place to win and become the West Coast Lites Champion which he would do. Fly rider Cunningham would stay consistent and finish in 8th place. Fly riders Chris Blose, Shaun Skinner and Zach Osborne were the only other riders that were not caught in the third corner crash, and were able to finish 11th, 13th and 15th.
