EnduroCross/MiniMoto SX Geared Up for '08
Anaheim , CA. - The organizers of the AMA/Maxxis EnduroCross Championship and the Maxxis MiniMotoSX , are gearing up for their most successful season so far. With the very exciting 2008 schedule announcements, which saw Endurocross growing to six national events and the return of the annual MiniMotoSX on the Monster Supercross Finals weekend in Las Vegas, events originator, Eric Peronnard, is proud of the very experienced management team they have been able to assemble.
“We have several new, yet familiar, faces joining our talented team this year,” says VP of Business Development Peronnard.
Having joined the team in 2007, industry veteran, Lance Bryson, Director of Sales and Marketing, expands his role this season. Having had his hand in various types of motorcycle racing over the past several decades, Bryson declares,
“EnduroCross and MiniMotoSX are by far the most exciting racing events I’ve had the pleasure to be part of over the years!”
Heading up the task of getting the multi-city EnduroCross Championship down the road is operations consultant, Joel Grover. With over 10 years of experience from Supercross to Freestyle Motocross to Supermoto, Grover sees the opportunity to take this indoor version of Off-Road racing into arenas around the country as an exciting challenge.
“We line-up the logs, rocks, boulders and dirt locally, so finding local folks to help us is key,” says Off-Road racer Grover. “Convincing the arena management to then let us drag it all into their beautiful arena is rather tricky too!”
As in the past, the top Off-Road riders in the world will be competing for the off-the-hook AMA/Maxxis EnduroCross Championship and some of the sport’s top names will be lining up to become the 2008 Maxxis MiniMotoSX champ. Consequently, competition management is critical to the success of these events and several industry veterans make sure all the bases are covered, including: race manager, Mike Hathaway, operations manager, Ron Loomis and competition coordinator, Becky Koons. Together, this team has organized nearly every aspect of two-wheeled racing in the dirt!
With this all-star crew gearing up, 2008 will undoubtedly see the most thrilling and well oiled events so far! Be sure to get your tickets or sign-up soon for an exciting race near you!
