On Saturday another French rider won, but this time it was Rodrig Thain who took the lead from his countryman Julien Vanni. Vanni led the race and made a mistake just with a few laps to go. Richier and Brown went through as well and Mike Brown secured again the 3rd position, behind Richier.
While Saturday started better for Travis Preston with a direct qualification for the semi final, things went bad afterwards. In the semi final he had some hard fights and after a crash in the last lap he found himself in the LCQ. With a second place behind the French Adrien Lopez he secured his place in the final, where he ended up on 5th position.
The SX2 was won once again by the French youngster Marvin Musquin who took the win in front of the American Nick Evennou. 13-year old German Ken Roczen impressed again on second day by snatching a sensational 3rd position in the second heat.
