Oehlhof Signs With CrossX Yamaha
Chandler, Arizona (January 8, 2008) - CrossX Yamaha Racing is pleased to announce today the addition of Mr. Joe Oehlhof AMA Professional #88 to the team's future 450cc entry. Mr. Oehlhof will be riding a limited schedule in Supercross with a focus on strength conditioning & training provided by the team’s recently hired team Medical Consultant Dr. Johnathan Edwards.
Additional prospects are being reviewed at this time for the team’s 250cc East Coast SX position.
Joining Mr. Oehlhof #88 at the AMA Outdoor National Series on the new 450cc CrossX Yamaha will be the 27-time AMA Amateur National Champion #811 Mr. Josh Lichtle.
Mr. Lichtle resigned a (2) yr. agreement that is a renewal with CrossX Yamaha recently and is recovering from what initially appeared to be a career-ending injury at the end of the ’06 season. Mr. Lichtle’s shattered ankle was completely reconstructed recently and he is undergoing an extensive rehabilitation program. He is scheduled to re-enter the AMA Professional series with the opening Outdoor National event at Glen Helen Raceway near San Bernardino, CA. Mr. Lichtle will also be monitored and trained by Dr. Edwards once he resumes riding duties this month and training with his newest teammate.
CrossX Yamaha Racing will also be promoting many new Marketing Partners brands & companies this season throughout the Motocross series and is in the process of moving to a new office and race shop facility located in Chandler, Arizona.
