XM Radio to Carry 2008 Monster Energy® Supercross
AURORA (December 20, 2007) – Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, announced today that the 2008 season will be broadcast on XM Radio’s Sports Nation (Channel 144). Live Nation Motor Sports, Inc., and XM Radio enter into their sixth consecutive year of broadcasting Monster Energy® Supercross.
In addition, XM Sports Nation (XM Channel 144), will broadcast news from each race on their Thursday Sports Nation This Morning hosted by TJ Rives, featuring riders and key industry personnel. Each race will air live on XM Sports Nation (XM Channel 144) from 8:00-11:00 p.m. PST.
The format of the XM Radio show dedicates the complete, three-hour program of the widely popular Supercross LIVE! audio webcast – on www.SupercrossOnline.com – every Saturday night during the season. Supercross LIVE! announcers Jim Holley and Jason Weigandt will call the race live from the press box, bringing all the racing action into hundreds of thousands of homes and to millions of listeners nationwide.
