Motorcycle Safety Foundation Position Open in WV
The successful individual will be responsible for coordinating the West Virginia Motorcycle Safety Program (WVMSP) based in West Virginia. Will help coordinate operations for the safety program including using the MSF RiderCourse Enrollment web
based system to schedule classes, report course completion and student outcome, and manage RiderCoach payment. Individual will also approve invoices, monitor training material inventory and assist as needed with coordinating RiderCoach Preps. Will also
negotiate agreements with training sponsors and assist sponsors in acquiring loan motorcycles. Responsibilities also include developing good relationships with training sponsors, site coordinators, RiderCoaches, dealers and vendors, and other organizations.
The successful individual will possess experience or skills demonstrating strong ability to successfully oversee a similar operation or organizational unit. A four-year degree in business management or a related field may equate to four years’ experience. Experienced motorcyclist with an active motorcycle endorsement, or willingness to acquire one, and MSF RiderCoach certification or willingness to become one. Must have a strong proficiency with a PC and MS Office Suite, good written/grammar and verbal communication skills, and people skills. The individual must have good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and leadership skills with the ability to make decisions based on sound judgment.
Must be able to work outdoors (at times in remote locations) and be able to travel within the state and occasionally to the MSF National Office in Irvine, CA. Business casual work environment. This is a part-time hourly position, approximately twenty hours per
week average.
