Troy Thomas Fitch, 46, of Las Vegas, NV, died in a tragic accident at Sandy Valley Motocross outside Las Vegas on Saturday, November 3, 2007. Troy started racing motocross at age 11 and it quickly became a lifelong passion. As a result he has many friends in the racing community. His sense of adventure eventually led him to jet-skiing and snowboarding.
Although golf seemed to be his latest 'ultimate game,' he always returned to his first love, motocross. Troy was a class winner in the 80cc class at World Mini in 1975 and raced with the likes of Jeff Ward and others of the era. Troy moved up and raced the A class for several more years. His love of the sport carried through to his boys Walker, Chasen, and his nephew Killy Rusk.
Troy was married to Darcy Walker and they have two sons, Walker and Chasen. He is remebered by them as a wonderful husband and a great father. Nothing made Troy prouder than to spend weekends with his family out at the track.
Troy is survivied by his wife Darcy and his two sons, Walker and Chasen, his parents Thomas and Mary Fitch, his brother, Perry Fitch (Shawna), his sister, Jennifer Rusk (Rob), his maternal gradmother, Lorene Busick, his nephew, Michael Walker, Killy Rusk, and Andrew Johnson, his nieces Shelby Fitch, Sheridyn Fitch and Janey Rusk and many many life-long friends, too many to count, whose lives he touched with his wonderful laugh and zest for life.
